RELOCATED

Meanwhile, in Infinity Battlescape, ...

Oh look, massive stations, multiple players in a server, planets to land on and no lag.

If CIG don't release something *good* in the next 6 months (they can't) then all these games (Elite Dangerous / Dual Universe / Infinity Battlescape) are going to start putting Star Citizen to shame with their gameplay and graphics making Star Citizen even more of a joke than it already is.

But what if it's not enough fidelity?!?

Seriously though, it's looking good for what they've taken on. I had been following these guys since they were attempting an MMO back in 2006-ish. They definitely spent way too much time on that before figuring out it wasn't doable. On the other hand, at least they didn't bilk people out of 160 million dollars while figuring that out.

PS: They built an engine themselves that actually works for the kind of game they're doing. Who would've thought?

Yeah, it has been going on for awhile. Though it's going to be a whole lot longer because the money they raised on Kickstarter is definitely not enough to complete it.
