EQNext, Heroes Song, both games that went all-in on promising the next big thing, taking preorders etc., but failing to actually define a scope for what the game would be - as well as not thinking through what the likely monetization scheme will be once it launches.
My vote for next death in this genre: Shroud of the Avatar.

I dont know how I feel about this.
On one hand I hate seeing games shut down (at least ones that catch my attention) and on the other hand I resent Smedley for what he did to the EQ franchise, selling it out to "DailyBreakGames".
RIP EQ Next and now this game.
Oh well, I wonder if they will sell on the ideas and assets they already have... surely all that cant go to waste?
