Bungie declares independence from Activision
« on: January 11, 2019, 11:56:30 PM »
Bungie has broken away from Activision, taking the Destiny franchise with them.  Once news of the split reached Bungie's employees, they supposedly cheered and popped champagne.

Let's see how this goes in the long run.  Though Activision is running out of things to run into the ground.  Skylanders "Toy-to-life" craze is essentially dead.  COD is showing signs of waning interest in the franchise.  And outside of that, all Activision has of note are Blizzard's IPs.

Something fishy is going on with this, and there is an investor investigation about it now too

Star Citizen isn't a game. It's a TV show about a bunch of characters making a game. It's basically "This is Spinal Tap" - except people think the band is real.
